Probably one of the top pizzas I’ve had in my lifetime, and I’ve had plenty. I love nyc style pizzas and this one did not disappoint. The dough was fluffy, chewy and crispy; sauce was slightly sweet and not acidic at all and cheese was plentiful, with a perfect pull.
Sometimes the dough and sauce will leave my stomach burning from the gluten and acidity but from this pizza nothing at all.
The owner was super sweet and attentive and you can see how much dedication he puts into his pizzas. I hope he prospers for many years to come.
I’ve tried cowabunga’s, Toronto pizzas like: badiali, north of Brooklyn, grams, fresca, superpoint and king slice, New york pizzas like: 2 bros, joe’s and prince street pizza and tbh Tony G’s is now one of my favourites.

This is my all time favourite pizzeria. The staff was very friendly and patient. Whenever I attend with my sister, they always end up giving her free slices. One of the staff members also shared with us that they donate the unsold slices at the end of the night to the homeless. The pizza tastes great, with complex flavours. This place gives back to our community, so I make an effort to choose Tony G’s instead of anywhere else. Gluten free options are still pending, although the owner did talk about working on an almond flour crust.
