Tosca

I didn’t have a good experience for dinner on Friday. We had stayed at this lovely hotel for a week in Paris and never had an issue with my stated food allergies. On our last visit a few years ago we didn’t try the Tosca restaurant but decided to end our stay with a lovely Italian dinner in the hotel. Unfortunately they didn’t adhere to my request to not be served gluten or citrus. My pasta dish had orange or lemon in it! So very upsetting! I go to great lengths to choose something from any menu that will be safe. I often have few choices. They apologized and then brought lemoncello to our room . I guess they don’t realize lemon 🍋 is in LEMONcello! Eye roll 🙄 Not a note or email. Just this request for a survey. I had a lovely quail appetizer that I shared with my husband. Two bites of food! I left very hungry and disappointed.

Following the purchase of a Jade tasting menu and wine pairing box, we discovered this restaurant which convinced us in more than one way. The staff is professional and attentive, and the information received on the different wines made the experience even more interesting. The dishes were very good, well balanced with 1 gluten-free menu as desired. A top-notch dinner which was divinely concluded with a small present. No false notes, I recommend without hesitation. S.D.
