I go to The Town Hall Tap frequently for happy hours. The drinks are good, the beer is excellent, and the food is above average for a bar. They do a nice job of having very attentive servers and a menu that offers gluten free options and some healthier alternatives as well. Go; you won't be disappointed.

The server told me they offer gluten free buns which is awesome, but what's the point of a gluten free bun if the veggie burger has barley (wheat) in it? Is it that out worldly that someone with Celiacs also is vegetarian/vegan? I told the server my allergy. Since the veggie burger isn't gluten free, I ordered the Mediterranean salad which was good, but a guy brought it out with the falafels on it and when I asked if those were gluten free, he said he didn't make but probably not. Disappointed. I've served in many restaurants and instead of saying, "Idk probably not", I'd say, "you know, I'm not sure lemme go ask the cooks." Also, if one of my customers orders something that may come with gluten in it, I'd make sure to leave it off if I find out it's not gluten free from the cooks. The Mediterranean salad was very good, but definitely won't be returning unless the Veggie burger recipe changes. Hint: try (GF certified) oats or quinoa for it to be inclusive, I'd pay extra for the different ingredients.
