Trading Post

To be honest I was a little disappointed I had to wait for table even though I booked and had a 8 mixed ages 2-80 so thought booking later 3.45pm might had missed rush didn't get sat till after 4.00pm and didn't get to eat because of carvery until after 5.00pm it was so busy the queue for the carvery was nearly at bar having the grand children and a member on a walking stick who had to go a sit as couldn't wait any longer was very difficult to say the least and even though the carvery staff were good when eventually managed to get to hot plates there was little left no sauce's little vegetable as two of us are gluten free so can't have cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puddings , and very little gravy couldn't really enjoy my dinner ! But I must say the staff were busy but helpful as always! Just disappointed as we were out for a family occasion! "But there's always something good in every day" the puddings did help soften the mood and the sticky toffee pudding being gluten free is delicious !

We booked for 5 o'clock 7 of us all seated quickly chose food easy enough.the wait to order was quite a while as was busy..food was good I had a gluten free burger which was nice the others had carvery and fish and chips all good portions.then they brought out the birthday cake I had put behind earlier..lovely staff all round
