Glad we found this place. The atmosphere was just right. Warm and welcoming. Pierce was our server. He took good care of us. Just the right sense of humor and information. Chicken fried steak was very good, hash browns just as I wanted. Pancakes was good. The gluten free waffle was good. Prices were reasonable. I would definitely come back if I lived in Texas.

We traveled to Burnet to celebrate our anniversary and I was so excited to read that the Trailblazer had gluten free options! I have Celiac disease so dining out can be a challenge. We were greeted promptly and seated immediately. We ordered the cowboy queso as an appetizer and it was awesome! The chips were fresh and the queso was the perfect texture and so tasty! I ordered a burger on the gf bun, a rare treat since I usually have to just order with no bun. Both the waitress who seated us (the hostess had stepped away) and the one who served us were sweet and attentive. Our server offered to ask the kitchen to use new oil so my fries were not cross-contaminated. I can't over-state how much that meant to me. My husband had the bourban chicken and enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the gluten free bun was extremely dry. It crumbled as I tried to take my first bite. I ended up just eating the burger patty with a fork. I showed the waitress how the bun disintegrated and told her it was too dry to eat. She shrugged and said, "I've never tried it." She asked if I wanted a box and proceeded to take payment at the table. I was disappointed that she didn't offer a resolution to the inedible bun problem. Other than that, it was a good lunch. I don't plan to go back but would recommend it for gluten eaters.
