Tramonto Bistro Malibu

This place was AWESOME. Wilfredo, the owner, came out to our table a number of times to check on us, say hello, see how we liked it--it was exactly what I want out of a little Italian spot. We sat outside on a Tuesday night and didn't even notice the street. The food was awesome and they can make their food gluten free, both their pizza and pasta. Their dessert is mostly gluten based (cheesecakes and such), but their raspberry sorbet was wonderful. You could taste the freshness. We also had their double baked chocolate cake thing--stunning. The wine selection is small, but good enough, and they have delicious port. The food we got (I had the carbonara) was wonderful. It was rich, but not like Cheesecake Factory where it's inelegantly so. It's delicious. And the shrimp appetizer with the capers--so good. In all, go. Go to this wonderful little spot in Malibu for a delightful time. I plan on going back!
