Trattoria All'Alpino - Treviso

We passed there on Saturday on our way back from Treviso. It is not just a trattoria but also a cicchetteria with tastings of good fish. Very good owner who can advise you if you are undecided. The helpers are also very good and the kitchen is very clean. The fried food made with rice flour is excellent and plentiful and therefore also valid for people with celiac disease. The mussels are delicious, both plain and with tomato sauce and a new sauce with mussels has been added. In general, all the fish is good and fresh. Excellent quality/price ratio. It's worth going there.

I'm here to share a bad experience I had recently (07/26/2024) at this restaurant. Let me start by saying that I don't like writing negative reviews but I'm forced to do so in spite of myself. I had also tried to clarify the issue by sending a private message to the owners via Facebook, who, despite having read it, never responded to me. I was here a few months ago for dinner and I admit I ate very well, also considering my intolerances they were attentive and the restaurant also served gluten-free first courses. Unfortunately, at the time of the bill, there was the unpleasant surprise of the total. A price completely inconsistent with the prices indicated on the menu and a bill made on the fly at random and without a receipt. At the time we were unable to point this out because we realized at home that the total had been rounded up. Be careful not to get fooled!!! After months (2/12/2024) this is the owner's response to legitimate questions about the account, implicitly agreeing with the "shadows" on the question. Evidently some people, in addition to having no educational or work ethic, because they take an observation as a criticism, also respond off topic and in a rude way, confirming what I have just written. In these cases all I can do is feel a lot of tenderness and wish them a good journey.
