Trattoria Gusto

Went to Gusto today with a friend for lunch. I was very impressed with the lovely server that understood my Celiac requirement of Gluten-free food. I had the Pasta Puttanesca and it was delicious. The Scallops were perfectly seared, mussels and shrimp perfectly cooked and the gluten-free Rummo rigatoni was perfectly al denté. Thank You, Gusto for an amazing lunch, I will be back!!

One of my best experiences as a foodie to date. Service wasn't the fastest but due to being diligent with covid regulations and ensuring safe visits. To me this is a strength at a time many ignore safety! After a wonderful weekend in Niagara falls that had so much disappointing food experiences, decided to spend the night in fort hope to rest. The first place we saw on Google maps was trattoria gusto and decided to give it a shot and stay at the hotel it was a part of. Firstly they were able to make any item in your gluten-free almost. Their wine prices are rather reasonable, the double hamburger, the shocked to find it gourmet quality. Tomato jam and horseradish really made this dish pop. Liza one of the best I have had and a really long time among all five star restaurants. This restaurant was so amazing we have decided that in the coming months or in the spring we will make it a point to spend a weekend in port hope at that same hotel restaurant. It was meant to be a stopover to rest our eyes so we can continue our drive. It turned out to be the best part of our weekend. The hotel has a lot of charm despite being a little bit older. We enjoyed it over our hotel in Niagara falls too. The server also gave us the most amazing recommendation for coffee in the morning.
