I had dinner in this restaurant with some friends.
We were looking for a restaurant with typical products but which also had the possibility of dining with gluten-free products.
Mariposa partially met our expectations. The place is very cute, small, suggestive and full of drawings that are extrapolated from customers' placemats: each placemat contains two dedicated spaces where you can draw something or leave a special dedication. All the materials (pens, colours, crayons) are already available in the room.
Let's describe the food: basically we decided to try a first course each and some of us also tried the dessert. All in all the dishes are good and well prepared, balanced. Perhaps the portions are not exactly exaggerated but not gourmet-sized either. What didn't I find? Bolognese cutlet, typical in Bologna but absent from the menu.
The availability of gluten-free pasta is good but it's a shame about the absence of lactose-free desserts (the only choice: sorbet).
Average price for being in the center of Bologna, perhaps slightly high for what we ate.
However, the place is recommended.
