Trattoria pizzeria da Giuseppe

I know the owner (Giuseppe, obviously) because I often go to his other restaurant "Franciscus", also in Bardolino. I confirm the goodness of the food also in this restaurant and the kindness, friendliness and helpfulness of Giuseppe and all the staff. A stone's throw from the wooden lakeside promenade of Bardolino. Since I have celiac disease, I often get their gluten-free pizza, which is strictly baked and cooked on its own aluminum tray. My wife, on the other hand, always has her plate of marinara mussel soup with red sauce and super croutons. Excellent choice of first and second courses for children too (grilled chicken breast, pasta with meat sauce, lasagne). The welcome mini non-alcoholic cocktail, with a basket of chips, is always welcome. And in the end he never makes you leave the table without having offered you a delicious limine sorbet or a bitter or limoncello. Giuseppe is good!

Came here by chance after a day at Gardaland. Very kind staff, especially the owner, treated very well and friendly. The pizza was very good, the pasta portions very generous (perhaps too much, but we didn't complain, on the contrary). Also worth mentioning is the possibility of eating gluten-free pizzas and dishes. Fair prices for being in the center of Bardolino. Advised! And ask for the limoncello at the end of the meal, it was exceptional!
