Trattoria Taverniti

I came here for the first time with my partner and adored it! Our food was absolutely delicious. My partner who doesn’t usually like marinara sauce actually devoured it (that’s when I knew I was sold.) We ordered a few drinks and each one was done perfectly. The tiramisu was 100% homemade and was delicious. Everything tasted like I was back in my old Italian babysitters kitchen- delicious, flavourful and warm. I managed to get gluten free pasta which was a wonderful addition for me!! It tasted authentic and not bland in the slight. The vibe was bussing and busy but all our servers managed to make us feel attended to and never forgotten about. Despite the rush of busy tables it still felt superbly cozy and was not too loud. The place is decorated like an adorable checkered Italian kitchen. The owner (Dominic) and his daughter (Venezia) both came and asked us how we were doing which was a wonderful addition to our service. Obviously the owners are attentive to their restaurant which is something I truly appreciate. I would recommend this place 100 times over. One of the few Italian spots that felt and tasted absolutely authentic. Thank you so much!
