Advertised on line as Gluten free. Had food intolerance signs up, people left reviews, saying best gluten free fish ever. waited for 40 minutes in the queue, only to be told “ we don’t do gluten free here. UPDATE YOUR GOOGLE SEARCH. Shambolic.

Went here tonight as I thought there might be gluten free options. On asking initially, we were told "nothing is gluten-free". I then asked about their jacket potatoes and baked beans. Turns out those and the mushy peas are fine, so I managed to make a meal. The rest of my family had fish / scampi and chips. All fine, much like our local. It's reasonably priced here, at least compared to our chippy (100 miles south). There are so many fish and chip shops in Skegness, we couldn't say how this compares to others, the decor / atmosphere sets it apart. Just wanted to warn other gluten intolerant / coeliacs that previous reviews mentioning gluten free no longer seems to be the case.

My daughter had found this fish and chip shop to go to on Our visit to Skegness on Easter Sunday the main reason being because saying it was because one member of out group is gluten free said they done gluten free fish and chips on the website perfect we thought We was in the Queue for 30 minutes to be told they don’t do gluten free we said it states on your website that you do and that is why we have come here she said we haven’t done gluten free for 3 years which really shocked us that it was still stated on the website they did she was saying something about they didn’t know the PIN code to change it the person walked out in disgrace after waiting that amount of time We did get our fish and chips and mushy which were actually very nice Just a shame they hadn’t put a notice up to to let customers know that they DO NOT DO ANYTHING GLUTEN FREE. Unfortunately we won’t be going back to this fish and chip shop when on a day trip to Skegness . PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS IF ANY MEMBERS OF YOUR GROUP ARE GLUTEN FREE SO DISSAPPOINTING
