Trestle Brewing Company

Ok, so we go to Trestle almost every time we visit Parry Sound and our friends cottage. That's at least 4+ times over the Summer and we like this place,we really do......but before I get into the issue I need to raise after today's visit, our server Hannah was EXCELLENT & she made our visit fantastic! If we didn't have Hannah and the other servers taking care of us, I think I'd give a lower star because this has everything to do with the menu and their selection, especially lack thereof! My wife is celiac and has a terrible gluten allergy and we don't go to most restaurants without doing some homework because usually she only has salads to select from. Let me tell you how fun that is! Hope you can pick up my sarcasm! Hannah (our server) did try to throw some combos to the wifey and seemed very educated about my wife's situation and allergies in general. Which is awesome but my wife still has zero options still. So sad! So, I'm pleading to you and all restaurants to have dedicated fryers and better options than just salads for these amazing people and customers that have a significant wallet if you can find a way to accommodate. We live in a beautiful city (GTA) with a plethora of options and technology, along with opportunities to balance kitchens so much better than before and I still don't understand how you guys (restaurant businesses) haven't picked up a HUGE opportunity and lucrative one if you focus on more options for your customers. And it's really not breaking the bank either. You just gotta be more mindful of what you bring into your kitchen/areas especially at a time where everyone and more businesses should be more conscious about this. Anyhow, I know my long winded message isn't from my own perspective because I can eat anything since I am very fortunate to not have any allergies. My last pitch is, if my wife could potentially eat better options than "SALADS" we would love to indulge more in restaurants and places to go and eat. Think about it....ie; restaurants $$$ Thanks for your time

Trestle is a must-visit if you are in the Parry Sound area. The food and drinks are delicious, and they are accommodating of dietary needs like celiac disease (gluten-free) which makes it easier for people like me to enjoy. The snow globes this winter were a magical experience. We enjoyed a couple of evenings out with friends and then went back another time with our kids to share the snow globe magic with them. They were completely entranced and it's like a big quiet babysitting bubble, while everyone enjoys delicious food and drink.
