Tru North Cafe

We were just passing through town and saw that Tru North had some gluten free options. We were so pleased with the restaurant. The service was amazing. My food was perfect. No, it was "fast" but they don't claim to be. The atmosphere is excellent, too. If I lived there, I would definitely be a regular. It's located downtown, so parking can be tricky. Don't be afraid to walk a block or two. It's worth it.

This place is not forgettable. The food is fresh, made to order, creative, and totally made with the inspiration of a man who loves to eat as much as he loves to cook. In this small hideaway called Livingston we enjoyed a culinary experience that was a delight in every way. We enjoyed muffins straight out of the oven, smooth tasting freshly brewed coffee, sweetened tea, and the fluffy egg sandwich, and the avocado, cilantro, poached egg sandwich. Mine was on sourdough. A mouth watering surprise. Gluten free? No problem. Nor was the bourbon infused bacon. All of it was delightful. And the atmosphere was perfect. A cozy room - the walls decorated in original art. We looked we munched we smiled. A great place!
