True Food Kitchen

Tried them out for dinner, I got the chicken parm (GF) with spaghetti squash. I ordered it for delivery, and I got the smallest piece of chicken with burnt breading, cheese stuck to the box (because it was so small it was sliding around in the box) and oh yeah… no spaghetti squash :(

I enjoy this restaurant every time I visit KC. The decor is inviting, cheerful and natural. The restaurant is very clean and crisp. I especially appreciate the many live plants. The staff is friendly, professional, and caring. They pay special attention to allergies and take them seriously. I ordered takeout tonight and Grace was very attentive to my meal as it was being made. As a note, they have gluten free buns, but they do contain milk (the staff did a great job of telling me). I made the choice to try the buns and can attest that there is a significant enough amount of diary to cause a reaction. They have plenty of options if you have food allergies. Also, they use avocado oil and olive oil to cook.

I have a gluten allergy. they were very good on preparing the food and making sure it was gluten free. The wait staff was very kind and understanding. went through the menu thoroughly with me and let me know what I could could not order as well as what they could change to make gluten free. very happy with it.
