True Food Kitchen

I enjoy this restaurant every time I visit KC. The decor is inviting, cheerful and natural. The restaurant is very clean and crisp. I especially appreciate the many live plants. The staff is friendly, professional, and caring. They pay special attention to allergies and take them seriously. I ordered takeout tonight and Grace was very attentive to my meal as it was being made. As a note, they have gluten free buns, but they do contain milk (the staff did a great job of telling me). I made the choice to try the buns and can attest that there is a significant enough amount of diary to cause a reaction. They have plenty of options if you have food allergies. Also, they use avocado oil and olive oil to cook.

I have a gluten allergy. they were very good on preparing the food and making sure it was gluten free. The wait staff was very kind and understanding. went through the menu thoroughly with me and let me know what I could could not order as well as what they could change to make gluten free. very happy with it.

My kind of place! Fun, open, industrial vibe with a small amount of outdoor seating. The parking was close and easy in the parking garage. And the food…. The FOOD!! What I strive to do every day, prepared and planned by someone else. I felt confident I was eating good and fresh food. Like a vaca to eat here. Plus so many options to choose from. Bowls, wraps, fish, lasagne, gluten free, dairy free options. On and on and on. I also believe they have seasonal choices that means you can to eat something different every time you go back. I can’t wait to go again.
