The good: Service by V was attentive and friendly without being too much. Gluten-free menu and gluten-free tamari for people with Celiac or gluten issues. The bad: This location has really gone downhill in the food prep area. Every roll we had was so poorly rolled they fell apart. Slices of fish on top were not uniformly cut and some were so thick they were extremely off-putting. The space also looks old and kind of dirty now. We were seated next to some pillar which was all banged up and very dusty. This isn’t what you want to see anywhere, let alone at a place that serves raw fish.

This is a staple for me. I always get the sunshine and pd roll but the executive and tnt and the one with mango and jalapeño are also good. The dessert is amazing though I miss the gluten free cheesecakes they used to have. I’ve never gotten sick here. You also can buy their gluten free teriyaki and jalapeño teriyaki in bottles to take home.

We had the most incredible dining experience at Tsunami (in South Jordan) last night! From the moment we sat down, our waitress, Tyler, went so far above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect .. especially for me, as I have celiac disease. She was unbelievably attentive, triple-checking with the chefs to make absolutely certain my food was completely gluten-free. Her kindness, bright smile, and sweet spirit made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Beyond the exceptional service, the food was absolute perfection .. fresh & beautifully presented. Every dish we had was outstanding & the care put into accommodating dietary needs was next level. If anyone is looking for a fantastic gluten-free dining option, Tsunami is an excellent choice. They even have a list of gluten-free desserts, which is almost impossible to find! It’s rare to find servers as dedicated as Tyler, her attentiveness, knowledge of the menu & of my dietary needs meant the world to us. If you’re looking for incredible sushi & top-tier service, this is the place to go. We will absolutely be back .. hopefully with Tyler as our waitress again!
