Tulum

The place is very cool in terms of interior design and look, the food is ok, but the service spoils it all. It's the second time I'm disappointed by the service at Tulum and I might not come back because of it. Very young and inexperienced staff who clearly don't do their job with pleasure. We had to chase them to serve us since my friend has a gluten allergy and we asked a few staff members for the options - they forgot about us. Then the waitress started handing out juice samples to all tables and just passed our table by without giving us the samples on purpose...very childish behavior. I get she must have been 18 or so, but this is unacceptable, sorry. I often go to other restaurants in Noordwijk and can confirm we normally get better and friendlier service than Tulum. It's a shame, because they have the right ingredients to be an awesome place.

Fantastic location, right on the beach and beautifully decorated. The food was also good, but unfortunately a few dishes were a bit too spicy. It's great that there are also many vegetarian and gluten-free options here
