Turners Kitchen & Bar offers a delightful dining experience with mouthwatering dishes like Ribeye, Surfside Striploin, and Duck Breast on Rice. The flourless chocolate cake was heavenly. Service was slow but worth it. The gluten-free options were well catered to, making it enjoyable for all.

Here's a 1st - walked out of this joke of a restaurant before having a bite. Our waitress starts us off with a 3 minute dissertation about how Turners is "chef-owned" and how he takes great pride in "buying local" whenever possible - and when not possible - only buying from "sustainably sourced vendors". Great - I appreciate that as much as the next guy. As such tho, our waitress explained, the owner/chef will make NO alterations to ANY of the menu items as said owner/chef has taken painstaking care in crafting the menu. Again - fair enough. Perusing the appetizers my gluten-allergic daughter (celiac disease) notices only 1 non-fried item - the tuna(not even a salad option). She politely requests the tuna appetizer - "just please no crostini - I'm highly allergic and will get sick." Waitress says they can't do that. I step in: "Can you just ask the kitchen to just serve it on the plate without the crostini - no need to replace it - just eliminate it." Waitress: "well she can just take it off the plate herself" Me (a little annoyed now) " well that's cross-contaminated and she will get sick - can you just eliminate it?" Waitress (at this point seems terrified of going into the kitchen and making the request) " well there's a lot of allergies out there and we can't make any exceptions" My wife: " want to just go somewhere else?" Me"yep" Few thoughts here "chef" 1 - stop binging "The Bear" - you're on a side street in Leesburg fla - you aren't French Laundrey or Per Se - I don't think the Michelin star is hanging on whether you plate the tuna on crostini or not 2 - your staff seems scared to even approach you - well done. 3 - if you're going to be so bougie - try having more than 1 non-fried appetizer on the menu - reminded me of TGIFRIDAYS 4 - the "chef" is really screwing the owner and the staff over here as I would have easily spent >$400 on dinner if he could have taken the crostini off the plate and the stick out of his butt.
