Tuscano's Italian Kitchen

This is our go- to sit down restaurant in the area. We love the staff, some have been there for many years which tells you they enjoy their jobs and are treated well- they definitely make you feel like part of the family. I find the food to be very consistent, so if you try a dish you like one time you can expect it to taste the same every time you order. I love the mamas Mac and cheese (definitely on the cheeeesy side, how I like it!), and the Cajun chicken pasta, fantastic gluten free noodles. Hubby loves the steak Marsala and chicken parm. Kid fave is lasagna. Loved the osso bucco when I treated myself to it. Oh- the picante wings are the BEST chicken wings ever and Brussels sprouts so good I actually get a craving for them!!

Though the service was quick, I ordered off of the “gluten free menu” thinking they were more knowledgeable because they had one. However, when I was presented my fettuccine Alfredo, I found not 1-not 2, but 3 none gluten free noodles (at least as I stopped eating when I found them). Sure, they were apologetic, but I do not feel that my needs were met nor respected. I will not be eating here again.

I'm gluten free and appreciate the separate menu! It's not often I can find good Italian food, so this was a nice surprise. Had the Chicken Saltimbucca last night (and leftovers for lunch!). Our waiter was fun and attentive.
