I was in town for work and had a rare night off and decided to treat myself to the chefs table tasting menu. Ignore all the ignoramus comments about portions and timings, they clearly don't understand how this sort of thing works. Yes, the portions were smaller and the pace slower but that's the whole point. I enjoyed 5/7 of the courses and it was all so flavorful and wonderful. Sitting up at the bar was like watching a calm version of Top Chef. Yes I would have swapped out or moved a few courses around, but overall I'm so glad I did the tasting menu because it forced me to try dishes I wouldn't have picked on my own. They catered beautifully to my celiac disease and I got to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. The restaurant is in an old converted fire station and is so sumptuous, almost feels like old Hollywood. If you're in town, I highly recommend giving this place a try, you won't be disappointed.
