Gluten free options available. I had ham and new potatoes. Basic but nicely cooked. It's very reasonable and good for the money.

Firstly staff was brilliant 👏 I am on a Gluten free diet and after a google search this brought me to your door. I ordered a burger and when my meal came I asked where my chips where ... sorry no chips you have a side salad.... disappointed was a understatement... 1st restaurant I have EVER visited where there wasn't any Gluten free chips ! My partner ordered a steak which 70% was uneatable, her mocktail hardly had any taste. Our Waitress noticed my partner wrapping her steak in a tissue and knocked £7.20 off my bill. I paid £38... what did I get uneatable steak ... a burger which was very nice but not enough to fill a grown adult .. pint of tonic water and another tonic water with red food colouring... £38.

Menu online showed a number of gluten free options and was in a handy location to meet up. Staff VERY helpful: When we asked about gluten free menu, we had to browse an apparently different menu, to that seen online, on a tablet. It was not particularly clearly laid out and had inconsistencies eg. why could we have a gluten free apple crumble with ice cream, but not custard? (There were several dishes on main menu which we could not fathom why they weren't gluten free) The staff were extremely helpful with several trips to kitchen to check gluten free status and availability. We were told they'd just cleaned the fryers so we could have chips (they do not have a fryer dedicated to non gluten foods) so we were able to have, what is for us, a treat of pub chips. Prices reasonable, pub clean and tidy and relaxing. Glad we came here. Dear Green King; making menus clearer for those with allergies and dedicated allergy equipment could make this place a 'go-to' for fellow sufferers. Many thanks to the team
