A good friend recommended Two Boots glowingly. 7:24PM: Ordered a gluten free pepperoni pizza to be delivered to my hotel. 8:25PM: Wrong pizza was delivered. Definitely not pepperoni. Maybe gluten free? Should I risk it? Called the delivery person, who seemed to have expected my call and told me to call the store. Called the store, and the person seemed to be expecting my call. Maybe they knew they screwed up my order and hoped I'd eat it anyway? I don't know. Anyhow, I was told they'd get a correct pizza out to me. 9:36PM: I called to check on my order, as it had been an hour. I was told my pizza was ready but waiting on a driver. I thanked them and said I've got a tip for the driver. I've been a pizza delivery guy. It sucks to have to deliver a replacement pizza knowing the chances of a tip are slim. 10:21PM: I called to check on my order and they picked up and immediately hung up on me. I called back, hung up on. Called back at 10:25PM, and they picked up and. hung up on me again without saying anything. Do I try to get my $30.73 refunded somehow? How does that even work? Crazy hungry now, so I guess I'll go get a smash burger since most places are closed. EDIT: smash nyc is closed. Corner store has cheetos. My advice is that if you're in a hotel and want to try this pizza, consider making the walk and pick it up. I'm sure it's great pizza. I would've loved to have tried it. Feeling super ripped off.
