UNA pizza + wine Calgary: University District

Came for a combo pre-xmas/birthday dinner with my parents. Gluten free options were amazing, I love that you don’t have to pay extra for the gluten free pasta and our server was very knowledgeable about what menu items were safe! The GF brioche was delicious, it’s been so long since I had good tasting GF bread. I got the rose rigatoni with GF noodles substitute and the pasta wasn’t overcooked or mushy (hard to find that balance with GF) and I had no reactions to the food which shows me they were careful about cross contamination! My parents shared some pasta and appetizers and had only good things to say about the food. My only complaint would be to add a pepper grinder/shaker to the table, I would have loved to have added some black pepper on top of the burrata that came with my pasta. My parents shared the pistachio panna cotta and said it was delicious, I had an Americano at the end of my meal and the coffee was great, bonus points for using local beans (from Rosso)

Amazing experience!!! Will definitely be back! Our server was wonderful and the food was phenomenal. Great gluten free options. Every person at our table was asked about allergens!! Automatic gratuity of 20% added to groups of 6+ but we were told that when paying.
