The waiter and manager were really nice....
We showed up at 630, seated right away and ordered right away. Thirty minutes later we had to ask for the kids "make your own pizza". We finally got it at the 45 min mark. After being there a full hour, we finally got our meals. Mine had to be remade as I ordered a gluten-free pizza, but it came out with breaded chicken. That was another 15 minutes. My husband ordered a 20oz beer and received a 12 oz. He asked for the proper size, but 20 minutes later the waiter still hadn't brought it over. We gave up and he drank it. After it was nearly gone we finally were asked if he actually wanted the 20oz.
The pizzas were all amazing. The gluten-free pizza was fantastic. The ribs were tiny (maybe 3?) And a small pressed piece of chicken that was lukewarm.
Ordered a dessert for the kids that took nearly another 10 minutes and a tiny sliver of a gluten-free cake for $8.
We were there for TWO HOURS with 2 young children. We had planned to be home around the time we left. While the manager and waiter were nice, there was no real apology, and no offer of anything (discount, dessert, drink etc) for all the mistakes and exceptionally long wait. I probably would have understood more of the restaurant was packed, but there were still several empty tables. Maybe not enough staff?
