Va bene Antipasti/Pasta Fresca/Pinsa

We ate at Va Bene for the second time last night. The first time was disappointing, as no one told us when we reserved a table that due to the company holidays from the following day, we would only be able to order a small menu. Only after a complaint was it said that they could make a dough for us, since the concept advertises homemade noodles. Since a friend is gluten intolerant, we wanted to visit Va Bene again. On the phone I specifically asked whether the entire menu was available that day, which was confirmed. And yet again there was only a small menu, gluten-free pasta but no gluten-free pinsa. You couldn't order all types of pasta either. We all still found something, some of the pasta was still too hard (not al dente). Nothing special in terms of taste. Finally there were problems when paying because the card reader didn't work. The next day two of us paid twice and now have to get the money back. And the cherry on top: there was gluten in or on the gluten-free pasta! Vomiting and stomach cramps all night!!! Service is unfriendly, the boss is fake friendly, they don't wait to clear up until everyone has finished eating, dishes are too expensive for what they are... Really not recommended!

A rather inconspicuous restaurant at first glance, but here the pasta is still made in-house. You can choose between 3 egg noodles and numerous sauces. There is also a gluten-free version available upon request (additional charge). The portions are really good and a starter is not absolutely necessary. The pizza on offer is a Pinsa, very tasty, crispy and plenty of toppings. There are numerous types of Italian beer and wine. Why I only give the service 3 stars... I think we got the wrong day or the wrong waiter. Forgot greeting from the kitchen, when I asked oh they didn't have it, then only bread with a little garlic mayo came ???? Well, we'll try it again and if it's better, I'll change my rating too. You can also pay in cash or by card.
