Val's English Tea & Pie Shop

A couple of friends and I went to Val’s for afternoon tea when I came to visit from Upstate Ny. I had been to a high tea in Bermuda and have been searching ever since to have that experience again closer to home. Since having that experience a couple of years ago I found out I am gluten intolerant from Hashimoto’s Disease, so I knew that would make it harder…. Especially since gluten free option usually aren’t that great, or there are limited options available. Well, Val exceeded my expectations of a full gluten free afternoon tea that was absolutely exquisite. I emphasize the “full” part because there wasn’t not a single item I was left out of… and everything was absolutely delicious!!! Thank you for a lovely time Val! I can not wait to come back!

Sharon and her husband have created the most delightful environment for afternoon tea. The food was delicious — and homemade gluten free offerings. I would highly recommend this experience and hope to return soon!
