I've been going to Zalaegerszeg for several years, but I had never known about the vegan place in the city center. At lunchtime, you can choose from three menus (raw and two vegan options), and the price for two courses is 2000 forints. The service is friendly and fast, the portions are of appropriate size, but not too big (which is just right for me as an 80-kilogram man).

Lovely small vegetarian restaurant with gluten-free options. I ordered a burger and fries, and everything was freshly made. The taste was so similar to actual meat that I was momentarily confused. The onion jam was especially delicious and a must-try. I highly recommend this place. I also want to mention the friendly and kind waitress, who despite the language barrier, provided excellent service.
