Velvet Elvis at La Misión

Great place that we heard so much about, so we decided to go for lunch. They have a Gluten Free pizza that they offer for an additional cost. 2 of our party of 4 are Gluten Free, so we all ordered GF pizza. We also ordered a side salad. The crust of the GF pizza had no flavor, was very bland so that made the pizza less desirable. The salad was a bunch of lettuce leaves, sides of everything else, so you need to make your own salad. Service was good and the decor was nice. Don't think we will be going back for GF pizza again.

We stopped at Velvet Elvis for lunch and are certainly glad we did. The physical restaurant is beautiful. The inside decor is inspired; eclectic and, yet, cohesive. We were met be a very friendly server whose welcome seemed authentic. We were impressed by the interesting menu, the unexpected dishes and the selection of vegan and gluten free choices We had a pizza and Stromboli. Both came with tasty and chewy crusts and delicious toppings/fillings. The cost was okay. It’s no bargain, but we felt we received full value for the money. So, if you’re in Patagonia and looking for a clean and beautiful restaurant with an interesting menu and well-prepared food, served by nice people in a friendly environment, Velvet Elvis is your place!
