Velvet Taco

Good quality food with a variety of ethnic mixups to the taco. Food tasted fresh and the staff were friendly, just a bit costly ($5 a taco) There is a lot of gluten free options too.

First time visiting Velvet Taco and it won’t be my last! The puffy taco was light and well, puffy, with lots of rotisserie chicken and a nice not-too-spicy sauce. I also tried the gluten-free Tikka Chicken taco - not because I avoid gluten but because it had a corn tortilla vs flour and shredded chicken vs fried tenders. It was good but a little too spicy for me and got soggy quickly. I also didn’t care for having rice in my taco so I would order without that it getting it in the future. It was a Tuesday so $5 margaritas all day - and omg there is some alcohol in these! Muy bueno 😁 I deducted one star because I don’t like that the loyalty program/app only gives a free welcome queso if you add your credit card on the app. Also if you choose not to do so, you have to scan in your receipts to get points vs having a barcode to scan as most places do. Kind of a PITA.
