I've been here numerous times and am not sure I'll return. I go because it's convenient and 4/5 quality food, but the service last night was awful.
I called in an order, was told it would be 15 minutes. I showed up, walked to the pick up line, and said I was there for a takeout order (an order was being called out, and I was seeing I'd it was for me). I then waited 20 minutes, made eye contact with the cashier numerous times, and often was the only one at the counter (along with my girlfriend). I was finally asked my name by a person who had been working in the back. I said my name and was told my order had been ready and that I should've said I was there for a pickup. They handed me a bag that had been sitting behind the counter. The receipt showed it had been ready for 25 minutes. I said I did check in, and the person looked at the cashier (who I checked in with), and I said (again) thatI checked in 20 minutes prior. They just shrugged their shoulders.
So I took my cold, $5+/each tacos home.
This is at least the third time they've messed up with me. I've ordered tacos on corn for a gluten-free friend, and they bring them on flour. They've done that twice. When I've brought it up, they've begrudgingly replaced them.
This restaurant needs to raise its quality control and respect. It's not my fault they made me wait 20 minutes when my food was sitting right there, even though they initially suggested it was. And then when they realized it was their fault, they just shrugged their shoulders, rather than offering a gift card or a comp or something. It's unprofessional.
Like I said, I go here a lot because it's convenient. But it's too expensive for decent (but not incredible) tacos when you're treated like an afterthought.
