Velvet Taco

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Velvet Taco! There were great gluten free options as well as veggie options! The elote guac was also delicious! Shoutout to Suzette who made us feel very well cared for, thank you!

Yesterday I went to Velvet Taco for the first time. I experienced terrible customer service and the food made me sick. I have celiac disease and ordered from the gluten free menu. The kitchen placed my gluten free tacos in with my husband’s non-gluten free tacos. When I asked which was which and pointed this out, the staff gave me dirty looks and rolled their eyes at me. They took the food back and instead of making new food they simply put the same already contaminated food into a new to go box. When I asked about this...I got more eye rolls as if I was being annoying. They unwillingly made new gluten free tacos, but made it clear that my request annoyed them. The staff at this location need better training to understand the risks and consequences of cross contamination. I won’t be back!!
