I stopped in to Veno's Specialty Foods and Meats the other day. What a treasure!
The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. The store is well stocked without being cluttered. There is a wide selection of meats as well as some vegetables, vegan and gluten free options in the Gourmet to Go case.
If you have any questions about how to prepare your food, the staff, led by their chef owner operator, Kendra Veno, is quick to offer advice or recipes.
There are even desserts available.
Over the last several days, we have enjoyed home made Maple sausage and Chipotle sausage, bacon ground hamburger, and a boneless leg of lamb. Everything has been delicious.
Next day, Leg of Lamb leftovers sauteed in Ghee, with eggs and avocado. Fantastic!
