Delightful lattes and breakfast at Vertex Cafe! This was my first time but definitely won't be my last. The latte's were on point in both taste and appearance 🤩 the food did not dissapoint with EVERYTHING being gluten-free and tons of vegan options. The only thing I longed for was a cozier spot to sit while sipping my latte with a good friend but overall definite 5 🌟 experience for me!

Vertex is the best coffee house in Ypsi! Obviously the coffee is great and it even costs slightly less than Cafe Liv or Hyperion (In my opinion, the other top-tier coffee options in Ypsi). I have a gluten allergy so I love that the menu is gluten free but I have brought multiple friends who do eat gluten here and they loved the food too. The baristas are super friendly and the space is huge so there is a lot of room to hang around and study. They have a really nice outdoor space where you can bring dogs too. There are a ton of community groups and events here if you want to meet people, buy art, support a cause, etc. I pretty much never write reviews but Vertex is really that amazing. Please never close :)

This place is clearly a labor of love and could become the main hang out spot in Ypsilanti. The staff is sweet, knowledgeable, and incredibly diverse. It’s a women owned, queer owned, eco-conscious gluten free establishment and that’s just the specs. The coffee is incredible, they’ve got an amazing gluten free food menu and their mock tails are delicious and so fresh. Their coffee is ethically sourced and roasted locally. Their syrups are made in house, and their food is prepared fresh and is so delicious! For interior space, there’s tons of seating and they have board games and activities inside for people who want to just hang out and chill. They hold space for everyone from Knitting groups, Trivia nights, Mom meet ups, and the Arab Olive Branch. I can not say good enough things about them! Vertex is exactly the coffee and the venu Ypsilanti was lacking!
