VeVe is a amazing vegetarian / vegan (I guess that's where the name comes from?) place, a hidden gem in a developing area of Østerbro called Amerika Plads. The ambiance is fantastic. You are welcomed with a lounge area where you can opt in for getting food "snacks" (they are so much more than a simple snack), which I highly recommend you do! You are then taken to the table where you will be served the main course menu. We went with the vegan option, which exceeded our expectations (I'm a picky eater and I even enjoyed the Brussel sprouts!) Everything ticked the right boxes for both me and my wife. We will definitely be coming back PS: on top of vegan, they can also do gluten free menus.

A gastronomic experience in a stunning eclectic setting. The food was outstanding full of surprises & tastes we hadn’t experienced before. The service was very good, with the waitress explaining each course as it was served. They served good vegan & gluten free choices as an alternative to the normal vegetarian fare. 5 snacks followed by 5 main courses and 2 desserts, would seem a lot of food but they were small portions and spaced out over a couple of hours, so was fine. We didn’t know the cost of the food before we arrived so a little expensive for what we had planned. However I would highly recommend for a special occasion & memorable evening.
