Via Locusta

We had a wonderful dinner at Via Locusta. We brought our toddler and baby with us and the staff were so accommodating. The food was delicious and they were able to accommodate my mom, who is gluten intolerant and vegetarian. We appreciated being able to enjoy the good vibes and delicious food here.

Excellent food & service. We enjoyed a special evening in the upstairs room for our friends 50th wedding anniversary. Service was top notch. With care given for vegetarian & gluten free requirements. The food was tasty, plentiful, & well presented - salad, appetizers, main courses & deserts. Plus mixed drinks & wines. A very delightful evening.

We had an absolutely enchanting experience at Via Locusta in Philly, where we enjoyed a beautiful candlelight dinner that transported us into a romantic fiaba. The atmosphere was simply indimenticabile—warm, intimate, and perfectly set for a special evening. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with eccezionale service. Our cameriere, Mathew, was incredibly attentive and helpful, especially in assisting us with selecting gluten-free and chocolate-free dishes. It's always a challenge to find a place that caters to specific dietary needs without compromising on taste, but Via Locusta exceeded all our expectations with plenty of gluten-free options. The culinary experience was nothing short of fenomenale. The Pasta Italiano was a standout, bursting with authentic flavors that truly captured the essence of Italian cuisine. Another highlight was the golden beets with pistachios—an excellent combination that quickly became my favorite. The dishes were not only deliziosi but also beautifully presented, adding to the overall delight of the evening. Beyond the food, what made our experience truly unforgettable was the ambiance. The softly lit candles, the elegant decor, and the soothing background music all contributed to a setting that felt magical and unique. It’s rare to find a restaurant that excels in both ambiance and cuisine, but Via Locusta managed to do just that. It was an evening filled with wonderful memories, exceptional food, and top-notch service. It's a place where every detail is thoughtfully considered, and the passion for creating a memorable dining experience is evident.
