Had lunch with a friend here.
Overall speed of service was good. Server was polite. Admitted she didn't know the menu well and was willing to go find out what we needed to know - what dishes if any could be gluten free. Would be wonderful if they could be marked on the menu like the vegan options were.
Food was not great. With the prices so high, I thought it was supposed to be authentic italian food - it is not. (hello, boxed pasta noodles) Pasta sauce was bland but way too peppery at the same time somehow.
The space seems unfinished. Lots of space for artwork, but nothing on the walls. Pretty light fixtures that draw your eye upwards to lots of flies flying around. Once I saw all the flies that was all I could focus on.
No accessible washroom on the first floor. Had to hike up two flights of stairs to find one.
All in all, not a great experience.
