Victory Cafe

Busy cafe located in antique store in front section of old movie theatre. Rustic and charming. They were busy when we arrived but some tables become available, after we wondered the antique store. Staff happily joined small tables together for our group of 6 plus a space for a baby in our pram. Table service. Able to pay separately, and they take CASH 💵 and card. So happy they are supporting cash legal tender. Main thing... food, it was fabulous, something for all of us. Those that eat anything, me as a vegan, and another gluten free dietary requirement. Loved the chickpea pancake and roast pumpkin. Reports were the chicken burger and fish, I think it was barramundi were great!

As a coeliac, and when travelling, it can be stressful finding a place I feel comfortable to eat with how strict I have to be with gluten but the Victory Cafe was absolutely beautiful! When chatting with one of the waitresses and informing her I was coeliac she was wonderful and let me know what I could eat there and what they could change with other meals, she was also great in letting me know how they minimise the risk of cross contamination. Great food too!
