We keep coming back because the food and service are the very best. The menu is constantly changing with seasonal availability, but the magnificence of the home made pasta is constant. We had a family dinner there with all the challenges that come with a variety of gluten free, dairy free etc and individual needs were met cheerfully and without problem - in fact each meal was wonderful (I couldn’t resist sampling). This place is a treasure.

Drove past on the way to my grandparents and thought i'd treat them to lunch here. Tucked just past the end of the main gallery walk to the right, the outside is an unassuming white house and the restaurant is on the lower ground. The entrance was the front door next to a menu and "Open" sign. When you walk in the sound of the traffic and tourism outside gets shut out and you're enveloped by a cosy ambiance and unassuming background music. I got the Homemade Polpette de la Nonna with spaghetti and it was beautifully seasoned, the pasta was freshly made, the serving size was just enough, and it felt very much like a comfort food. The lasagne was also very well received especially by my grandfather who is normally a picky eater- wiped the plate clean! For dessert we got tiramisu and chocolate cake. The cake was gluten free and because of the almond flour-very dense and moist: a great chocolate cake. The tiramisu was a great balance of sweetness, crunch, and coffee. The desserts weren't too sweet which was nice. Our chef/server was lovely and attentive to our needs. Definitely make a reservation if you're heading in for dinner, but lunches are more flexible. The restaurant seats 22 max, but there was space in the car park for maybe 10, so carpool! Mains and dessert came to about $38 per person which was a deal for how great the meals were. It is BYO which they tell you when you book your reservation, accepts EFTPOS, unfortunately not wheelchair accessible(sloped driveway leads to four steps down to entrance), and has vegetarian options.
