Words cannot describe how amazing this place is. Having been to Italy twice, I can confirm the flavors in the dishes are incredibly authentic. Everything is so immensely flavorful and very unique. They only use one type of spaghetti for their pastas, but I heard our server mention they do have a gluten free option, and I don't find that it takes away from the dishes.
The atmosphere and decor are wonderful. First floor has a more moody feeling with a full bar, perfect for dates or a night out. The second floor has more of a cozy, rural style. I can't say I would recomend this restaurant for young children, as the dishes certainly fit a more mature palette, but I'm sure there are some options that younger people would enjoy.
The wine and overall bar selection is quite expansive with some very authentic options. You'll notice they carry multiple items that are products of Italy, which I think about sums up the dedication this establishment has.
DISH REVIEWS:
Pollo Pesto - 100/10: Oh my Lord this pasta is heavenly. It's so creamy and flavorful, yet still has a very prominent pesto taste. Super light yet filling. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend.
Bolognese - 15/10: Probably the most authentic tasting bolognese I've had in America since going to Italy. Has a wonderful sausage flavor with the tiniest bit of kick.
Pasta Vodka - 9/10: Again, super rich in flavor. I would love to try it again with shrimp, as I think it would pair really well with the sauce.
Garlic Bread & Calamari Fritti - 12/10: Wonderful start to the meal. The homemade marinara sauce is an absolute must-have when you come.
Tiramisu - 9/10: Great way to finish the meal, and especially good when served with a little bit of their lemon chela (although, beware, as my father described it as a "bottle of Everclear with lemon juice," but he said he enjoyed it).
