Hotel is very good, well situated and had a nice welcome at check in. I have Celiac disease and asked for a menu that I could choose from. I was served by Milly, a charming young lady who never stopped smiling. She gave me a comprehensive printout of all the food they serve with very detailed explanations of what each contained; Gluten, Wheat, Nuts etc. I’d never seen this level of detail before and it was brilliant. Top marks must go to Milly who brought me the food, and even asked me to fill out a card confirming my food choice before it was made. This gave me a lot of confidence that what I ate would be fine. (Gammon steak and loaded chips were so good!). Great job Village hotel, I’ll definitely be back.
