Vine and Olive Eatery and Wine Bar

This is my second time at this restaurant. Unfortunately our experience wasn’t great. We came here with 5 people. First of all some of the food was really good like the acorn frites, the corn hen, and the scallops. I had ordered a steak and asked to confirm the meal can be prepared gluten free, 20 minutes later my meal came out with no side. Never heard that they couldn’t make the side gluten free or providing an alternative. I asked why there was no side and was told the side couldn’t be prepared gluten free. I asked them to prepare a different side and they brought out French fries and ketchup. For a $45 steak??? My wife got the albacore tube meal and it was bland and the fish wasn’t very tender at all. Another in our group got the pork shank and said it was mediocre. I won’t be coming back after this experience. I hope this review is helpful as you’re trying to decide where to spend almost $200.

I had about given up on finding truly inventive, exceptionally fresh, imaginatively flavored dining in CDA - that's also great for your health. NOT anymore! The vision of the team creating the menu here is remarkable. I found gluten-free, low-carb offerings with an abundance of vegetables. Easy to avoid too much dairy or eggs. But, you would not think for a moment you were in a health food restaurant because you are most certainly not. This is fantastic 5-star dining in a more casual atmosphere. Friendly, thoughtful service. Shout out to Zeb!
