But Viola Gelateria is not just ice cream. The restaurant also offers an excellent café, where you can enjoy one of the best coffees in Syracuse, accompanied by a selection of teas, chocolates and hot croissants for a perfect breakfast. The Sicilian pastry shop is another strong point: freshly filled cannoli, cassata, cakes, crêpes and many other delights make it difficult to choose. Behind the quality of each product there is the passion of the master ice cream maker Giacomo d'Alessandro, who with over 15 years of experience has obtained international recognition, including victory at the Gelato Festival America 2018 and the national final in Miami in 2019. This is reflected in the care and attention to every detail, from the choice of ingredients to the preparation. The staff is extremely kind and friendly, always ready to advise and make customers feel at ease. The service is fast and efficient, which makes the experience even more pleasant. Open every day from 7.30am to 10pm, with extended hours until midnight on Saturdays, ideal for a sweet break at any time of the day. For those arriving by car, there is the possibility of parking nearby, a significant advantage in a tourist city like Syracuse.
