Violet's Tea Room

I had Afternoon Tea here as a birthday present from my goddaughter. She is coeliac. All the food was absolutely delicious, both gluten-free and ordinary. I had a blueberry and white chocolate scone. There was blueberry conserve served with it. I really enjoyed having a scone that was a bit different. The cafe was pretty and characterful. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Wonderful place for lunch or afternoon tea. Huge range of good quality options on sandwiches and cakes. Wonderful service. Proper china cups and teapots etc. beautiful views and lovely atmosphere. Like going back in time. My daughter said it was perfect with lots of gluten free options. She said the cherry on the cake would be if they had loose leaf tea .
