Waddington Arms | Hotel & Restaurant

I took my mother out for a trip to the village where she was born, in near-by Bolton by Bowland. Unfortunately the pub there was closed. Found this place on the way back. We were greeted by a friendly, polite server who explained simply how to order and on hearing about the need for gluten free food, clearly explained every option on the menu that could be served gluten free. I have a feeling she knew about it very well. I think here name was, Rebecca(?) The food was well prepared and delicious, well worth the price paid. I had a vegetable red Thai curry, very spicy but complemented well with the rice. and my mother had the Caesars salad with chicken. She mentioned that she got a lot of chicken that was more than expected. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely go back even though it is a little out of the way.
