I had never been to a Wagamama's before. But whilst in Canterbury, my daughter suggested to go there for our lunch. When we arrived, we hadn't realised that the large number of people opposite was the queue. However, the lady who met us at the door was lovely. She saw that I was disabled and told us we could sit and wait our turn inside. when our turn came, which took about 6 minutes, we were taken to our table. My daughter is gluten and dairy free, and therefore we waited for a short period of time for the manager to serve us. She took our orders, and wrote some numbers on our place mat, and then explained that because the food was made to order, it didn't always come out ate the same time. When the drinks arrived I then understood what the numbers were for. It meant that when the server came with your drinks or food, they would see immediately what was for which customer (I understand for large crowds, but not sure this is needed for groups of 1 - 3). Due to my daughter's gluten and dairy allergies, her food was cooked separately and delivered first. I then waited for over 10 minutes before my own meal was delivered. Now I know we were told that the food might not be delivered together, but when people are eating in a couple or group, I did not expect to wait for over 10 minutes for my meal. By that time my daughter had nearly finished eating. However, the food was delicious, and this would be my the only fault I could find on this visit.
After our food and drinks were finished, it was easy to pay without waving down a member of staff. we were able to do in easily by scanning and paying using the QR code on the table settings. The food was competitively priced to other eating places in Canterbury. I will definitely visit again.
