Wagshal's Market

Opened for a short time, superb discovery!! Small, well-stocked mini market, but the best part is the BBQ part, and the butcher shop! We tried the BBQ meat to take away...wow, a treat! Next time we will try the meat from the butcher's shop (local meat). You can also make your own sandwich, there are quite a few choices in the fresh produce section. The charcuterie section is homemade. You will find drinks, a gluten-free section, flowers and pastries. A terrace is also available, in the evening, it must be very nice. And finally, the decoration is very nice. Visit on August 21 evening (takeaway meals)

I really like Wagshals. Two shops, the market and the deli. Their sandwiches on-site are awesome, full of flavor. The bread is well made without additives and a friend is who gluten-free says it's in the top 3 gluten-free breads they've ever had. The market section has high quality fish and meat, their fruit pies are so good you could eat far too many in one go. They have a wine and spirits selection to rival any alcohol-dedicated store. But....all this gourmet excellence comes at a very high price. Expensive, expensive, expensive. So pick and choose. Unless money is no object for you, then a weekly shop here isn't for the financially faint-hearted. 😃
