Had my first ever Vemakase lunch at Wakamama last Saturday and it was a very palatable, yummilicious and surprisingly filling lunch!!! The food was plant-based, wholesome, gluten-free and sustainable - eat without guilt!!!
Kudos to Joyce for being such an excellent chef and host, not forgetting MoMo-san who is so adorable and such an obedient pup (she sat next to us while we ate and at times after running around with the chef, she slept on my feet ☺️).
A very cozy and tiny restaurant (feels as if one book the whole restaurant 😉) where you sit in the kitchen, watch your food being prepared for you, and the chef chats and share tips with you. Joyce’s culinary skills is truly amazing - food tasted really really good and look really really appetizing too!!! She does her own food fermentation and dehydration too!!! It’s the first time I had an omakase without having to pre-inform the chef no seafood ☺️. For someone who doesn’t eat seafood due to allergies, I had veafood - oyster, scallop, sashimi, tuna, squid, salmon 😆
Highly recommended and will definitely return, as the menu changes according to the seasons😉 I heard the cheesecake is to die for 😁
