Excellent gluten free vegan Japanese omakase! Delicious and creative dishes. I’m not vegan but I came here with a vegetarian friend and we were delighted. Very enjoyable meal. There’s only omakase menu, no a la carte. The drinks were great too - I had the black goji tea and topped up hot water a few times. The kombucha mocktail was refreshing and delicious.

Had one of the best gluten-free vegan Asian fusion meals ever. Favorites were the 4 Snacks, gluten free pasta, “sharksfin” soup, wagashi mooncake I really appreciate how much heart and thought went into creating all these different dishes from scratch and with natural ingredients yet still bringing the flavors together. You can really tell the passion Chef Joyce has for the food she is making. With the resident PR manager/bouncer MoMo for company, this has been a very nourishing heartwarming experience.

Had my first ever Vemakase lunch at Wakamama last Saturday and it was a very palatable, yummilicious and surprisingly filling lunch!!! The food was plant-based, wholesome, gluten-free and sustainable - eat without guilt!!! Kudos to Joyce for being such an excellent chef and host, not forgetting MoMo-san who is so adorable and such an obedient pup (she sat next to us while we ate and at times after running around with the chef, she slept on my feet ☺️). A very cozy and tiny restaurant (feels as if one book the whole restaurant 😉) where you sit in the kitchen, watch your food being prepared for you, and the chef chats and share tips with you. Joyce’s culinary skills is truly amazing - food tasted really really good and look really really appetizing too!!! She does her own food fermentation and dehydration too!!! It’s the first time I had an omakase without having to pre-inform the chef no seafood ☺️. For someone who doesn’t eat seafood due to allergies, I had veafood - oyster, scallop, sashimi, tuna, squid, salmon 😆 Highly recommended and will definitely return, as the menu changes according to the seasons😉 I heard the cheesecake is to die for 😁
