Walla Walla Steak Co - Woodinville

I have had many good meals at Walla Walla Steak Co. Tonight's was very disappointing. We were there for dinner. All three of us ordered the Steak frites. One person in our party substituted Brussels sprouts. They enjoyed them. My steak was about a third smaller than the other two, and it was also tough. I wish someone had told me that the fries were not gluten-free. When I asked the server, he went to ask the chef and returned to let me know that the French fries were pre-breaded. I took my parents here for a nice night out, and while it is pricey, the service was truly excellent and the food was delicious. My dad was very happy with his salmon, my mother loved how tender and juicy her pork chop was, and my smoked prime rib was perfect. I have a severe gluten allergy, so dining out is always a bit of a risky gamble, but our server was fantastic and checked with the kitchen about anything she dl wasn't sure about. I wasn't expecting the scallops to come out sushi style (I was somehow expecting them to come out cooked), but they were tender and refreshing, and luckily made with tamari so I could eat them. I didn't have any issue with gluten here, and really appreciate the server and kitchen ensuring that my delicious meal was safe for me. We'll definitely go back!
