I have only been here once, but some of the best fried prawns, cod and french fries I have had to date. My dad had the rockfish, which was also good (though I prefer the cod). It was extremely busy but service was still good. I believe the seafood is battered in-house and that the fries are also made in-house (though I was not able to confirm this). The side salad was very fresh. They also have Manhattan clam chowder, which I prefer over Boston chowder and is a much healthier option. However, both were very good
Side notes:.
I prefer Boston chowder that is naturally thickened by cream and potatoes only. I also feel potato starch is superior to flour (for thickening chowder) because it is gluten free. I believe they use flour at Wally's.
The owner, Mike, was in the mix and working hard to support his staff. Much respect for leading from the front and setting such a great example.
