Great prices with lots of gluten free and vegan options, but appears to be nothing but self checkout at the end.

Clean, well stocked and forward looking in trending grocery selections. I went intending to visit 3 departments but became enamored with the fresh produce and frozen seafood offerings...both quite extensive and specialized. I found several organic selections among the produce and a wide selection of seafood usually found only in specialty shops...steelhead trout and fresh oysters to name two. Additionally I found many foods labeled gluten free. I searched diligently song their extensive and popular selection of organic spices and found the popular and trending ones that I needed sold out. Apparently supply gains have been greatly slowed down on every level by the worldwide pandemic. Not only is there a run on paper and cleaning products, but there are many empty spots in the grocery aisles as well. These shortages fuel the panic that already exists and result in even more shortages as consumers seek to add foods with a stable shelf life to their pantries. Food shortages HAVE been widely predicted, so many more folks are developing a kind of survivalist attitude...seriously not a bad idea. In the Bible we learn the story of Joseph who was sold into slavery his jealous and greedy brothers. He ended up in presence of powerful people and saved all of Egypt by interpreting the troubled kIngs dream...7years of plenty followed by 7 years of poverty. He filled all the silos of Egypt during that time and thus saved not only the country, but his own family as well. His father and brothers left their home for a foreign land to seek provisions to allay their own hunger. Imagine their surprise when they found Joseph alive and well and faring famously...still enjoying the favor of God and man. I am not sure that we have the advantage of 7 years of plenty, but we can be wise in our shopping habits and lay aside that which we are able to, and we can contribute to those less fortunate than ourselves...through random acts of kindness, food banks, homeless shelters, etc.
